Boss & Guardian Cards
29 cards: one per act-climax boss and mid-act guardian across all twelve biomes (six base-world biomes plus six Infernal-tier biomes), plus 5 World Boss cards. Boss cards are the Legendary grade, the system's rarest and qualitatively strongest tier — see Bosses for the fights themselves.
Infernal cards are stronger. Every card from an Infernal monster has its power values multiplied by ×1.25 (chances, bonuses, reductions and the upside of a tradeoff; thresholds and penalties stay the same, and each value stays within its cap). The effects listed here already include that multiplier.
Drop rate: a Boss or Guardian kill has a 750-to-1 chance at its card per kill (Legendary grade), guaranteed (pity) within 1,500 Boss/Guardian kills without one. Cards are weighted by value, so the priciest is rarer: Thornclad's Ward, the only boss card that still grants full damage-over-time immunity, drops about 1 in 1,088 Forest Guardian kills, with pity at 2,175. The 5 World Boss cards follow none of this: they come only from the weekly raid's rewards.
