World Boss

The World Boss is a god or titan Nyxara swallowed whole instead of killing, driven back once a week but never defeated. A 24 hour attempt window opens every week (Sunday 00:00 UTC to Monday 00:00 UTC), and every account gets exactly one attempt inside it.

The attempt lasts 10 minutes, plays back at your own hero's normal speed, and the boss cannot kill your hero: this fight measures your hero's power, it never risks your run.

Everyone who completes the attempt earns gold, from 50,500 at floor 1 up to 100,000 at floor 100. When the whole community drives the boss back far enough that week, that gold doubles for every contributor.

Rotation

The boss rotates weekly through this fixed order, the week index modulo the length of the list, so the same boss returns on a steady cycle.

  1. Ormungal, the Drowned Leviathan
  2. Vashtiel, the Sunless Seraph
  3. Karrgoth, the Iron Titan
  4. Sylthara, the Hollow Bloom
  5. Ythanor of the Thousand Eyes

Ormungal

Magic +30%

the Drowned Leviathan

Ormungal went under a river delta before the delta had a name, coiled around whatever the current still owed the depths. Nyxara ate the river, the delta and the coil all at once, and kept the shape of the debt rather than settling it. Once a week the tide remembers what it swallowed. Driven back, the river runs on, still owing.

Signature move: Rotting Touch. A festering touch that poisons.

Ormungal's Undertow card

Ormungal's Undertow Legendary

A Swallowed god, drowned and kept, not dead. The tide it breathes out still answers to it, driven back but never gone.

Takes 15% less damage from ranged attackers.

Vashtiel

Physical +30%

the Sunless Seraph

Vashtiel judged a world of light so harshly that the light itself asked to be eaten, and Nyxara obliged, keeping the seraph's verdict but not its sun. It still sits in judgment of everything that reaches it, sunless, sovereign of a court with no one left to sentence. Driven back, it resumes waiting for the next case.

Carries a ramping Abyss Hunger: true damage that grows the longer the fight runs, so a slow fight punishes you more, not less.

Vashtiel's Verdict card

Vashtiel's Verdict Legendary

The Sunless Seraph judged every god it ate before this one. It still knows exactly where the crown of a rival sits.

Deals 12% more damage vs boss-tier enemies.

Karrgoth

Magic +30%

the Iron Titan

Karrgoth forged a world's core into a single unbreakable will, and when Nyxara ate that world she kept the will and let the core go cold. What surfaces now is iron that remembers being a god, absorbing every blow the way a forge absorbs heat. Driven back, it cools, and starts forging again.

Its Void Aegis caps every single hit you land to 5% of its own max HP, so burst damage alone cannot end this fight early.

Karrgoth's Resolve card

Karrgoth's Resolve Legendary

The Iron Titan was driven back a thousand times and stood a thousand and one. Its will outlasts whatever tries to break it.

Stuns and debuffs land on you 50% shorter and 50% weaker.

Sylthara

Physical +30%

the Hollow Bloom

Sylthara was the last root of a garden world, hollowed out and kept blooming long after the garden itself was swallowed whole. Every petal it opens is an old vow it is still, somehow, keeping. Driven back, it folds shut for a week and opens again, patient as any flower, waiting to be watered.

Carries elevated innate dodge (25%), scattering a share of incoming hits outright rather than mitigating them.

Card

Sylthara's Mercy card

Sylthara's Mercy Legendary

The Hollow Bloom feeds on what it swallows, but a petal, once in a great while, drops something back into your hand.

10% chance on hit to heal 5% of your max HP.

Ythanor of the Thousand Eyes

Magic +30%

Ythanor watched a thousand worlds end from a thousand vantage points before Nyxara ate the watching itself, kept because the hunger found it useful. Every eye still turns toward whoever hits it. Driven back, it does not close a single one, only waits for the next week's hero to be worth counting.

Signature move: Soul Drain. The abyss drinks the target's life force, leaving wounds that refuse to close.

Ythanor's Ward Legendary

A thousand eyes have watched a thousand curses land and slide off. Ythanor never blinks, and neither does whoever wears its gift.

Immune to debuffs.

Ranking

Contributors are ranked by a class balanced score, not raw damage: your damage is multiplied by your class's weight below, so every class has the same expected score against any boss. Ties break by raw damage, then by whoever posted their attempt earlier that week.

Bane Draught

Once per raid week, you can buy a Bane Draught for 25 Red diamonds before your attempt: it adds a flat 20% outgoing damage bonus against that week's boss for the whole fight.

Every attempt also rolls one chance at that week's boss card: a 2,000-to-1 chance per attempt, independent of your gold and prize rewards.
